Hi Princesses!
Today I have a few questions. Have you ever had so much going on around you and then suddenly just stopped and asked yourself where it’s all leading? What does God want from us as women and as individuals? Is it possible to come up with one definition for what a real woman is, or is it something like a journey that you have to keep learning as you go? Are there any struggles that every single woman can empathize with, or do we each have completely unique experiences? ... Maybe a little bit of both? How can you know if you’re doing your level best? Because I don’t think it means we have to be dropping down every day, exhausted, or going on and on like an Energizer Bunny and giving of ourselves until we have no strength left in us to build ourselves.
Just wondering…

Well my dear, apart from your first question, all the others do not have a direct yes or no answer and are all adaptive to the situation surrounding them.
ReplyDeleteyes I have been in a place where i had no idea what was going on. A friend of mine calls it the whirl wind- but here is your comfort, my God speaks in the whirl wind!
Women were created with care and that is why most times you will not find yourself observing the whirl wind from the outside but rather you will be standing right in the middle. Naturally we have the ability to multi-task and we need to learn to use our God given abilities to our advantage.
I wish I could say that God expects less from women and therefore we can sit back and relax but NO! Have you ever imagined how a woman can go through painful child birth the first time and still go ahead to give birth to another 5 children or so? (I think of it and it is scary) But God has placed in us strength and resilience that will not rest. he never gives us more than we can handle! So we can do this! Just ask God for wisdom to manage the responsibilities He sets before us. remember the proverbs 31 woman? Well it doesn't start when you say I DO, it begins now.
I don't know if I have answered all your questions but to sum it up, We hold nations in our hands, the work load is big and we need more laborers. We can't sit back, we cant let set backs keep us from destiny. We can do this ladies, besides WE ARE ROYALTY!
Thanks Jasper! Someone told me we need to embrace what you call the "whirlwind" because trials are one situation where God is guaranteed to be with us. Not that He ever leaves us or forsakes us, but rather He has stated categorically that when we pass through the fires, He will be with us. Many people talk about irrelevant things when we're asked what womanhood means. The debate nowadays is whether God wants women to stay at home, preach, or things like that, but I think first and foremost what He wants from us is undivided, undiluted worship because it’s only in a daily state of worship that our flesh is subdued and we can then hear what our individual missions are…
ReplyDeleteTrue about Proverbs 31! I guess if there was a single definition for a real woman, Proverbs 31 would have ended at verse 10, right after the guy asks “who can find a woman of virtue?”! He would have answered it in one sentence. Lol. I guess it’s a journey, because every day brings new challenges.
Just a few thoughts! I’ll keep thinking about the other questions, thanks for sharing!
